What’s On

Our church caters for all ages and stages in life and has something for everyone. Our primary focus is on the Word of God and the majority of our activities are based around that. However, we do like to have fun too…

We offer a range of programmes in Toberdoney Presbyterian Church…

Sunday Service – 10:30 am

Our Sunday morning service is Christ-centred and Biblical. From the hymns, the prayers, the Scripture reading, and, of course, the sermon, everything is centred around Jesus and our walk with him.

Our sermons generally follow a biblical theme or a study through a book of the bible. We hope that you will be nourished through our teaching of God’s word each week.

Come as you are, dressed as you are, in whatever spiritual state you happen to find yourself. Jesus welcomed everyone and he still does today. Anyone, from every walk of life, will be made most welcome at Toberdoney Presbyterian Church.

Sunday School – 9:30 – 10:15 am

Sunday School takes place each Sunday morning during term time for all children from P1 – P7.

Bible-class takes place at the same time for anyone in Year 8+

Midweek Meeting – Wednesday 8 pm

Every other Wednesday, during the academic year, we meet for prayer and bible study, where we go a little deeper into God’s word and pray for the needs of our congregation, our land and the world. The format is informal and there is scope for discussion. Like our Sunday services, we generally follow a theme; however, we do have guest speakers from time-to-time.

Presbyterian Women (PW) – Third Tuesday in the month – 8 pm

Every third Tuesday in the month, the PW meet to study the Bible, to discuss topics or to listen to a visiting speaker (usually accompanied by home-baked goods and a cup of tea). All women are welcome, no matter what age.

SNAC – Sunday 7 pm

Every other Sunday, during term time, our young people of both Mosside & Toberdoney meet in Toberdoney for topical discussion and Bible study, along with games and other activities. The format is VERY informal and can be manic at times, but there is a great sense of fellowship with all who come. Anyone year 8+ is welcome.

Bowls – Monday 8 pm

Our bowling club meets on a Monday evening to practice (when there are no matches being played elsewhere). All are welcome to join in the fun. If you are anywhere near decent, you might get signed up!

While the church exists to equip disciples of Jesus to live for him in this world, it exists as a covenant family, where members look out for, and have fellowship with each other as they assemble together.
